Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver professional in-store beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false eyelash application) in accordance with Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Drive sales and service KPIs by recommending products, rebooking appointments and converting consultations into retail transactions.
• Maintain active state licensure and adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols during service delivery.
• Provide consultative, personalized client experiences that build long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
• Contribute to an inclusive store culture by collaborating with colleagues, supporting store standards, and upholding company policies.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/hours for the part-time role.

Qualifications

• Active state license or certification authorizing waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments.
• Demonstrable product knowledge across cosmetics, skincare and beauty trends; ability to educate clients effectively.
• Proven ability to deliver individualized client service and meet sales/service targets.
• Reliable availability for peak retail hours, strong punctuality and physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Skills

Experience

1–3 years in a beauty services role or comparable retail, hospitality or service environment, with hands-on experience delivering makeup and waxing services.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant cosmetology/esthetician certification and active state licensure required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.75 to USD 24.88 per hour.
