Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application according to Sephora’s service menu.
- Drive retail results by educating clients on product benefits, recommending and selling retail merchandise, and rebooking beauty services to support store goals.
- Maintain active, state‑required licensure and consistently apply health, safety and hygiene protocols during all services.
- Provide personalised consultations to assess client needs, build trust and create lasting client relationships.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store environment and follow company policies to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services will be provided.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a client‑facing service role.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup and skincare and an ability to communicate trends and product benefits clearly to clients.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and other physical tasks required by salon/retail work.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or another client‑facing environment; demonstrated ability to deliver personalised service and meet sales or service goals.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification preferred.
