Sephora in Dallas (Preston Royal Village) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time); hourly pay $21.75–$24.88, makeup and waxing services required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver makeup, waxing and false-lash application services according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Generate retail revenue by educating clients, recommending products, selling merchandise, and rebooking beauty services to drive repeat visits
- Maintain active professional licensure for services performed in the state and ensure compliance with local health regulations
- Provide personalized consultations, build lasting client relationships and document client preferences for follow-up
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture and uphold Sephora’s operational and customer experience standards
- Work assigned shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly hour/shift requirements and maintain punctual attendance
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application and false-lash services where services will be delivered
- 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a comparable service environment
- Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty tools, with an ability to translate trends into client recommendations
- Proven ability to deliver consultative, personalized service and to build long-term client relationships
- Ability to work flexibly during peak retail hours and to meet required weekly shift minimums
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of relevant, client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, or hospitality with demonstrated sales and service outcomes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a cosmetology, esthetician or makeup artistry program preferred.
