Role & Responsibilities

• Provide professional beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false-lash application and other services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu) to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Drive sales and service outcomes by recommending products, booking and rebooking appointments, and meeting individual and store performance goals.
• Maintain active licensure and strictly follow health, safety and sanitation protocols for all service areas.
• Educate and advise clients on product selection, application techniques and trends to build long-term relationships and increase client retention.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store culture and uphold Sephora’s operational standards and company policies.
• Be reliably scheduled for peak retail hours, demonstrating punctuality, consistent attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-eyelash services in the state where services are delivered.
• 1–3 years of client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a related service environment.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetics, skincare and current beauty trends with the ability to translate that knowledge into tailored client recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized service, manage appointments and build lasting client relationships.
• Available to work retail peak hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Skills

Experience

1–3 years of relevant, client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or another customer-service environment; prior experience delivering makeup, waxing or lash services preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.75 to USD 28 per hour.
