Sephora (The Veranda, Concord, CA) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) to deliver makeup and waxing services; $24–$27.60/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s service menu.
- Consult with clients to assess needs, recommend products and services, and deliver personalized beauty routines that drive repeat bookings and sales.
- Achieve individual and store performance targets through service rebookings, product sales and exceptional client retention.
- Maintain active professional licensure and adhere strictly to health, hygiene and safety protocols for all services.
- Promote an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive in-store experience for clients and colleagues.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts and peak retail hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) to meet store operational needs.
Qualifications
- Active state license authorizing waxing, makeup and false-lash services where services will be performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tailored client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability to meet required weekly shifts and peak retail hours.

Experience
1–3 years' experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments; demonstrated success delivering appointments and building client loyalty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
