Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store beauty services including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application per Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Drive sales and service results by booking, rebooking and converting service clients to product purchases.
- Maintain active state licensure and adhere to health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Provide personalized client consultations, educate clients on product usage and current beauty trends.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive store culture and uphold Sephora’s customer service and operational standards.
- Remain reliably available for scheduled shifts including peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet minimum weekly hours.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services are provided.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality or client-service environment.
- Demonstrable product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty tools, with a track record of delivering personalized client service.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule (including evenings, weekends and holidays) and meet required weekly shifts.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.

Experience
1–3 years in a beauty service role or in retail, hospitality or customer-facing positions; proven ability to convert service appointments into product sales and build repeat client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal cosmetology/esthetician training or certification is advantageous.
