Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Drive sales and service revenue by rebooking appointments, recommending products, and converting service clients into retail customers.
- Educate and inspire clients with up-to-date product knowledge, trends, and tailored recommendations.
- Maintain active licensure and comply with all health, safety and hygiene protocols for service delivery.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented store culture and support store operations, policies, and standards.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexible availability for peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active, state-required license to perform waxing, makeup application, and false-lash services in the state of employment.
- 1–3 years of experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or a similar client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Comfort with retail sales metrics and a target-driven environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain active periods of standing and service delivery.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of professional experience in beauty services, retail, or hospitality; equivalent hands-on experience providing makeup, waxing, or esthetic services also acceptable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-recognized cosmetology/esthetician or makeup artistry certification program as required by licensure.
