Sephora — Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) in Caguas, PR: deliver makeup and waxing services, sell products, and build client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional Beauty Studio services including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application according to company service protocols.
- Provide personalised client consultations to recommend products and services, drive product sales, and secure service rebookings.
- Maintain active state licensure for all regulated services and consistently apply health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Contribute to store performance by meeting individual service and sales objectives and supporting store merchandising and operational standards.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment by supporting colleagues, promoting brand initiatives, and upholding Sephora’s customer experience expectations.
- Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays as required to support peak retail operations.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash services where services will be performed (Puerto Rico licensure required).
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role or comparable experience in retail, hospitality or customer-facing service environments.
- Thorough knowledge of beauty products, current trends and application techniques.
- Demonstrated aptitude for personalised client service, relationship building and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable availability for scheduled shifts and peak retail hours.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or a customer-service environment; demonstrated ability to deliver personalised services and meet sales-oriented goals.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology/esthetics certification and relevant licensure preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, USA, with easy access to San Juan.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.20 to USD 21.10 per hour.
