Sephora Brooklyn (NY-Atlantic Terminal) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) to perform makeup, waxing and client services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Drive sales and service revenue by booking and rebooking appointments, recommending products, and converting walk-in consultations into purchases.
- Deliver personalized client consultations that educate, inspire and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain active professional licensure and rigorously follow health, safety and hygiene protocols for all services.
- Support store goals and team performance through collaboration, punctuality, and reliable shift coverage including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Adhere to company policies and uphold a safe, inclusive and welcoming shopping environment for diverse clientele.
Qualifications
- Active, state‑issued license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the state where services are provided.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service-focused environments; entry-level applicants with the required licensure may be considered.
- Demonstrable product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty tools, with the ability to translate trends into client recommendations.
- Proven ability to deliver consultative, personalized client service and to build repeat business through appointment rebooking.
- Capacity to work a flexible retail schedule and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

1–3 years in retail, hospitality or beauty service roles; entry‑level candidates with required state licensure and strong client service aptitude will be considered.
