Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized beauty services and product guidance at its Boston flagship location. The role encompasses makeup application, waxing, and false lash services, complemented by expert product knowledge and trend consultation. The successful candidate will maintain active state licensure, uphold rigorous hygiene standards, and cultivate inclusive, supportive client relationships while driving service rebooking and retail sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver makeup, waxing, and false lash application services in adherence to Sephora's Beauty Services menu and health protocols
• Drive service rebooking and product sales to achieve store performance targets
• Educate clients on beauty trends, products, and techniques, providing personalized consultation and inspiration
• Maintain active state licensure and consistently uphold hygiene and safety standards
• Foster an inclusive team environment that celebrates diversity and empowers all clients and colleagues
• Ensure punctual attendance and reliability during peak retail operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Active, valid state license for waxing, makeup, and false lash application services
• 1–3 years' professional experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or customer service
• Demonstrated expertise in beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills with proven ability to build lasting client relationships
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Education

Active, valid state license for waxing, makeup, and false lash application services required for the jurisdiction in which services are performed.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 27.50 per hour.
