Sephora is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) in Boston, MA. Provide beauty services, drive sales, and join a diverse team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty services including makeup application, waxing, and false lash application per Sephora's Beauty Services menu
- Drive store goals by rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling complementary retail products
- Stay current on beauty trends, product knowledge, and techniques to educate and empower clients
- Maintain active professional licenses and uphold all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Build lasting client relationships and foster a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork
- Meet minimum weekly shift requirements (15–29 hours per week) with availability during peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Uphold Sephora company policies and contribute to a safe, welcoming shopping experience
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false lash services in Massachusetts
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and professional techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build client loyalty
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Education
Active professional beauty license required (esthetician, makeup artist, or equivalent) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
