Sephora in Beverly Hills is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor to perform makeup and waxing services in the Beauty Studio (hourly role).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio including makeup, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s service menu.
- Drive sales and client retention by recommending products, rebooking services and meeting store performance goals.
- Educate and inspire clients with up-to-date product knowledge, trends and personalised consultations.
- Maintain active professional licensure and adhere to all health, safety and sanitation protocols.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s service and brand standards.
- Meet required scheduling commitments and be available for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-application services where services are provided.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar beauty-services role or in retail, hospitality or a client-facing service environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in beauty products, service techniques and current trends.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and build long-term client relationships.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and the ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements for full-time status.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
1–3 years of experience in a beauty-services or client-facing retail/hospitality role; demonstrable track record of personalised service and sales in a fast-paced environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related certification preferred.
