Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application.
- Drive sales and service rebookings by educating clients, recommending products and converting consultations into retail purchases.
- Maintain active professional licensure and adhere to all health, safety and sanitation protocols.
- Provide personalised client consultations to build lasting relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
- Contribute to a culture of inclusion, teamwork and adherence to Sephora operational standards.
- Meet scheduling expectations and minimum weekly shift requirements; be available during peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash services where services are provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments.
- Thorough knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalised client service and achieve sales/service targets.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and the ability to meet required weekly shift minimums.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a comparable environment, with hands-on experience in makeup, waxing and lash application preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related certification/license as required by state regulations.
