Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Achieve store sales and service targets by selling products, rebooking beauty services, and providing consultative client experiences.
- Maintain active licensure and comply with all health, safety and hygiene protocols for service delivery.
- Educate and inspire clients with up-to-date product knowledge, trends and personalized recommendations.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive store culture by contributing to teamwork and an enjoyable shopping environment.
- Adhere to Sephora operational standards and company policies; be punctual and meet required weekly shift/hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active, state‑required license to perform waxing, makeup and false‑lash application in the state of practice (e.g., cosmetology, esthetician, or waxing certification).
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role or relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or client‑facing service environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of beauty products, application techniques and current trends.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Comfort working in a goal‑oriented, team environment and capacity to learn and share product knowledge quickly.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
1–3 years' experience in a similar beauty services role, or experience in retail, hospitality, or other client‑service environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; active cosmetology/esthetician/waxing license required (state‑specific).
