Sephora seeks a legal intern in Neuilly-sur-Seine to support consumer law and commercial compliance for 6 months beginning January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the legal team on cross-functional matters in consumer law, distribution regulations, and competition compliance
- Validate marketing and promotional communication materials across all channels (advertising, promotions, loyalty card offers, price displays, contests) with particular attention to Omnibus Regulation compliance
- Monitor regulatory developments and maintain legal updates relevant to the distribution and commercial sectors
- Conduct contract review work spanning distribution agreements, general services, and related arrangements
- Prepare legal memoranda and presentations for operational teams
- Participate in pre-litigation management and dispute tracking
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and CRM teams to provide commercial law guidance with emphasis on consumer protection
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently completed a Master's II programme in business law with specialization in commercial law (distribution, consumer protection, competition) or accredited law school programme
- Double degree from a major business school preferred
- Strong writing and synthesis skills with attention to detail
- Fluent English proficiency mandatory
- Demonstrated organizational ability and intellectual curiosity

Internship-level position; candidates should have foundational knowledge of French commercial and consumer law through academic study or preliminary internships
Education
Master's II in Business Law or equivalent with specialization in commercial law (distribution, consumer protection, or competition law); or enrolled as a law school candidate. Double degree from a major business or engineering school is advantageous.
