Sephora’s 10-week, full-time internship runs June 14–August 20, 2027, at its Las Vegas Distribution Center, with a hybrid work arrangement and a 36-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, Pacific time. The intern supports warehouse systems, integrations, automation, and AI-powered tools, and presents project outcomes at the program’s conclusion. Target pay is $30 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related supply chain applications.
- Assist with system integrations, testing, validation, and deployment.
- Analyze operational and system data to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop automation solutions to streamline warehouse support processes and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, engineering, and business teams to improve system performance and user experience.
- Support the development of AI agents and decision-support applications for warehouse users.
- Develop prompt-based AI agents that help operations and IT partners interact with systems for visibility, productivity analysis, and reporting.
- Build AI-powered tools, dashboards, and monitoring solutions that enhance operational visibility and support distribution center operations.
- Present project outcomes, evidence, lessons learned, and recommended next steps at the conclusion of the internship.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Graduating in 2027 or 2028 with an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Foundational programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or a comparable language.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
- Ability to break down problems, learn unfamiliar technology, document work clearly, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in AI infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, developer experience, or distributed systems.
- Exposure to one or more cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD tools, containers, observability concepts, secure software development, or AI/ML platform technologies.
- Work schedule must align with 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions.
