Sephora hiring Inventory Equipment Operator in Avon, Indiana at $21.50–$23.00/hr. Full-time role in Omni-Channel Distribution Center.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks of different types and configurations, in support of warehouse operational and production requirements
  • Process customer orders using material handling equipment and RF terminals, ensuring accurate inventory control and order fulfillment
  • Attain and maintain all required certifications in safe operation of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures
  • Adhere strictly to all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations; report safety violations and potential hazards to supervisory or management personnel
  • Comply with all Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and work flexible schedules, including designated shifts and overtime as required by operational needs
  • Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications and provide assistance to Maintenance on projects requiring motorized material handling equipment support
  • Deliver high-quality internal and external customer service according to company standards
  • Respond proactively to direction from Shift Coordinators, management staff, and other departmental personnel

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
  • Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in confined warehouse spaces
  • Ability to obtain all DOT certifications required for equipment operation
  • Capability to work at heights of up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, walk, and maintain physical posture for the duration of scheduled shifts

Experience
