Sephora seeks an Inventory Equipment Operator in Avon, IN to operate material-handling equipment at its Omni-Channel Distribution Center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of motorized and manual material-handling equipment (powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, reach trucks, hand jacks, carts) to process orders, replenish stock and support warehouse workflows.
- Attain and maintain required equipment certifications and follow battery-changing procedures and DOT requirements where applicable.
- Use RF terminals and inventory-control systems to pick, pack, put-away and complete order transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Meet established safety, production and service-level targets while adhering to Company, state and OSHA safety rules and Loss Prevention policies.
- Maintain reliable attendance and schedule flexibility, including designated shifts and overtime as required by operational needs.
- Support cross-functional tasks: cross-train in other warehouse roles, assist Maintenance on projects requiring equipment support, and respond to direction from shift coordinators and management.
- Deliver high-quality internal and external customer service in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to attain required material-handling equipment certifications (company-provided training).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, sit, squat and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts.
- Comfort working at heights (up to 32 feet) when operating reach trucks and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with conventional distribution processes (picking, packing, put-away, replenishment) preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as operationally required.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous experience operating material-handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to obtain on-site certifications and comply with company safety and attendance standards.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.50 to USD 23 per hour.
