Sephora is hiring a full-time Inventory Control Associate at its Mississippi Distribution Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi, on a permanent basis. The role supports inventory accuracy across receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, and shipping through counts, audits, product research, and warehouse control activities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control activities, including overflow and cycle counts, researching missing products for orders, and handling damaged products in accordance with company and vendor agreements.
  • Answer coworkers’ questions about product location and status.
  • Audit packed orders to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Perform slotting and cubiscan activities for Retail Operations.
  • Assemble special promotional packages and gift bags.
  • Inventory and track samples for Dotcom orders.
  • Maintain work areas in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Follow company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations, including proper work attire, and report actual or potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
  • Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures, including proper work attire.
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by Sephora.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, work designated shifts, and work overtime as requested to meet business and operational needs.
  • Respond proactively to direction from the leadership team, including Shift Coordinators, management staff, and other departmental personnel.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service in line with company standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Able to stand, sit, squat, lift, and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills

Familiarity with WMS software or experience using menu-driven applications. Familiarity with warehouse layouts or ability to learn the layout. Ability to operate RF terminals to track warehouse products. Basic math skills and ability to match numbers. Ability to multitask. Effective problem-solving. Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Ability to understand other business functions as they apply to the position. Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

Experience

Previous experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.10 to USD 20.45 per hour.
