Inventory Control Associate at Sephora's Avon, Indiana distribution center. Full-time role managing inventory, cycle counts, and warehouse operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform inventory control activities including overflow counts, cycle counts, and research of missing products for orders
- Handle damaged product per company and vendor agreements, conducting damage assessments and documentation
- Conduct quality audits on packed orders to ensure compliance with company standards
- Respond to co-worker inquiries regarding product location and inventory status
- Execute slotting and cubiscan activities for retail operations to optimize warehouse organization
- Assemble special promotional packages, gift bags, and seasonal items
- Inventory and track sample products for e-commerce orders
- Maintain work areas per established company standard operating procedures
- Operate RF terminals and warehouse management system software to track and locate products accurately
- Adhere to all company, state, and OSHA safety regulations and report safety violations
- Comply with company loss prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain regular attendance and flexible work schedule including shift work and overtime as needed
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or menu-driven applications
- Ability to operate RF terminals and handheld scanning devices
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to reconcile numerical data
- Detail-oriented approach with strong accuracy focus

Experience
Entry-level to beginner candidates are welcome; however, prior experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory control processes, or similar logistics roles provides an advantage but is not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

The successful candidate will be located in Avon, Indiana, USA, with easy access to Indianapolis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20.10 to USD 21.50 per hour.
