Sephora in Avon, IN seeks an Inventory Control Associate (1st Shift) — entry-level warehouse role at the Omni-Channel Distribution Center, hourly pay $20.10/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute inventory control tasks including overflow and cycle counts, investigating missing product, and handling damaged inventory per company and vendor agreements.
  • Operate RF terminals and warehouse systems to track product movement and location across the distribution centre.
  • Conduct audits of packed orders to verify quality and accuracy against company standards.
  • Perform slotting and Cubiscan activities to optimise storage and retrieval efficiency.
  • Assemble promotional packages and gift bags; inventory and track samples for dotcom orders.
  • Maintain warehouse and work areas in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Respond to co-worker inquiries about product status and location; provide high-quality internal customer service.
  • Adhere to all Company, OSHA and Loss Prevention policies; report safety concerns and maintain proper work attire.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work designated shifts and requested overtime; follow direction from shift coordinators and management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with WMS software or other menu-driven warehouse applications.
  • Ability to operate RF terminals and perform Cubiscan/slotting tasks.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems independently and work with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting and lifting up to 50 lbs for the duration of a shift.
