Sephora Stockroom Assistant position in Auckland, New Zealand—inventory control and stock management in luxury beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels in conjunction with the Inventory Controller on all inventory items
- Participate in programs designed to reduce shortage and loss across the stockroom
- Ensure proper processing and consolidation of damages, testers, and known theft products in accordance with company standards
- Assist with regular stock takes and cycle counting initiatives
- Maintain optimal stock levels and replenish merchandise as required
- Support visual merchandising activities and store-wide initiatives
- Work on a rostered schedule including weekends, early starts, and late finishes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a stock-based role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail sales environment
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills with ability to influence team members at all levels
- Demonstrated capacity to lead by example and support colleagues across organizational levels
- Suitable physical fitness to lift and shift boxes weighing up to 15kg regularly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
