Sephora São Paulo seeks an Inventory Assistant (affirmative action for Black candidates) to manage in-store stock accuracy and daily counts at Shopping JK Iguatemi.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inventory counts of merchandise, testers and store consumables following Sephora’s prescribed counting methodologies.
  • Control and record inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring accurate logging and physical reconciliation.
  • Identify, investigate and report stock discrepancies; prepare clear variance reports for store management.
  • Maintain orderly stockroom organization, labelling and storage to preserve product condition and facilitate rapid retrieval.
  • Support periodic audits and cycle counts, collaborating with store teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Adhere to health, safety and loss-prevention procedures when handling goods and testers.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidate; previous retail or inventory experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to follow standardized counting procedures and maintain high accuracy under repetitive tasks.
  • Basic numeracy and proficiency with record-keeping or inventory forms.
  • Eligible under Sephora’s affirmative recruitment program prioritizing candidates who identify as Black (Brazil).
  • Availability to work on-site in Shopping JK Iguatemi, São Paulo, with flexible retail hours.
