Sephora in Neuilly-sur-Seine seeks an Internal Auditor & Controller (permanent) to lead loss prevention, audits and fraud detection across France, Monaco, Luxembourg & Belgium.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead loss prevention initiatives: identify, analyse and map fraud and loss risks (monetary, merchandise, administrative) and assess the effectiveness of existing procedures.
- Review and formalise critical processes related to cash and stock flows; support operational teams in applying procedures and monitor corrective action plans.
- Perform data-driven detection and monitoring: exploit transactional data (POS, e‑commerce, stock, CRM), build and maintain key risk indicator dashboards and develop queries/tools for predictive/preventative analysis.
- Conduct investigations following store alerts or data anomalies: collect and document evidence, produce structured investigation reports and collaborate with Security, Fraud, HR and Legal.
- Execute retail audits (approximately 3–5 store audits per year), identify pragmatic remediation actions, follow up on recommendations and measure action-plan effectiveness.
- Act as a cross-functional partner with Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, IT and HR to strengthen internal control culture and protect company assets.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Audit, Finance, Internal Control, Data Analysis or equivalent.
- 5–7 years’ experience in an audit firm, internal audit, data analysis or loss prevention; experience in retail or luxury retail is a strong asset.
- Fluent French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
