Sephora — San Francisco: Internal Audit & Control Manager (hybrid) responsible for audits, controls and analytics across US & Canada.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end operational and internal audits from scoping through planning, fieldwork, reporting and remediation tracking across Sephora US and Canada.
  • Design, implement and test internal control frameworks and procedures to ensure alignment with LVMH policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute special projects, ad-hoc audits and project reviews in response to emerging business risks.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide proactive advisory on risks and controls for new initiatives, programs and systems.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive procedures library covering Sales, Inventory, HR, Marketing and Supply Chain controls.
  • Champion data-driven monitoring and continuous auditing by developing analytics, PowerBI dashboards and AI-enabled audit tools.
  • Perform periodic store audits to validate in-market controls and inform enterprise-level risk assessments.
  • Support preparation for LVMH internal audits and external audits and follow up on action plans to ensure timely closure of findings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in internal and/or external audit, finance or controlling; at least 3 years preferred in retail or consumer packaged goods.
  • Bachelor's degree with accounting education required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Professional certification required: CPA, CA, CIA, CISA or CFE.
  • Proven experience designing and leading internal audits and special projects.
  • Working knowledge of auditing standards, control frameworks, laws and regulatory requirements applicable to finance and retail operations.
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency; demonstrable experience building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience applying project management practices in multi‑stakeholder, fast‑moving environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive audit or finance experience in audit firms or large companies, with preferred exposure (3+ years) to retail or CPG environments. Education

Bachelor's degree with accounting education required; Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field highly preferred.
