Sephora Canada seeks an Interim Team Leader in Gatineau, Quebec (Les Promenades) to lead store operations, coach the team and drive sales (hourly pay).
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the in-store team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets.
- Coach, mentor and provide continuous feedback to develop team performance and product expertise.
- Drive customer engagement and loyalty through personalized recommendations and in-depth product knowledge.
- Support daily store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising and adherence to store standards.
- Execute onboarding and training initiatives related to service excellence, loyalty programs and brand activations.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture where employees feel empowered and accountable.
- Maintain punctuality and availability for peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' leadership or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-facing service environment (3+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to coach and motivate teams to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
- Strong sales and customer-service skills with demonstrable product recommendation capability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
- Physically able to lift and move up to 22.7 kg.
Skills
Experience
Minimum two years of supervisory or team-lead experience in a retail or customer-facing environment; demonstrated success in coaching teams, driving sales and executing daily store operations. Prior experience in beauty retail is an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 21.10 to CAD 26.40 per hour.
