Sephora Canada — Interim Talent & Operations Manager in Vaudreuil‑Dorion (12‑month contract). Lead talent, training and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all talent and operational activities for the assigned Sephora store, including services, workshops and events.
  • Lead recruitment for key store roles, conduct final interviews and use the applicant tracking system for candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Design, coordinate and deliver store training and continuous learning programmes in partnership with the Store Director and education partners.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports, manage performance issues and ensure timely, actionable feedback and follow‑up across the team.
  • Manage daily store operations: inventory control (shipping, receiving, returns), cycle counts, store zoning, and ensure compliance with company operating standards and timelines.
  • Create and manage store schedules; demonstrate commercial acumen over sales, staffing, payroll and controllable expenses to drive results.

Qualifications

  • Two to four years of experience in a comparable talent/operations role within a retail environment of similar sales volume, or equivalent internal retail experience.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain high‑performing store leaders and advisors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence business partners at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing performance processes and delivering structured training programmes.

Experience
