Sephora seeks an Interim Store Manager in Montreal to lead beauty studios and customer experiences. CAD $54,800–$68,500 + benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all services within the Beauty Studio, Skincare Studio, and Fragrance Studio, as applicable, including daily operations and workshop activities
- Ensure beauty advisors leverage technological innovations to deliver exceptional in-store experiences and services
- Manage the online reservation system, publish advisor and course availability, and optimize customer registration efficiency
- Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of beauty advisors and beauty coordinators, providing career advancement opportunities
- Plan and execute all in-store events with adequate staffing and resources to maximize customer learning and drive sales
- Oversee advisor development and certification processes, fostering continuous improvement in artistic and technical skills
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to direct reports and studio coordinators
- Serve regularly as a service manager on the sales floor, engaging directly with advisors and customers to foster a customer-centric culture
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in a retail environment with equivalent sales volume
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels
- Proven capability to build and recruit talented retail managers with strong training and team development competencies
- Experience managing beauty services, customer-facing studios, or specialized retail environments is a strong asset
