Role & Responsibilities
- Forecast sales and payroll with the District Manager to drive store results and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics
- Achieve store sales plans and operating profit targets while managing expenses and adjusting business strategies as needed
- Develop growth strategies leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and beauty services
- Maintain optimum staffing levels while recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel across all store positions
- Train, coach, and supervise department managers and leads to develop their leadership and business capabilities
- Establish a coaching culture with regular acknowledgment of successes and constructive feedback on development opportunities
- Conduct inventories, maintain accurate inventory records, and communicate concerns to key stakeholders
- Make strategic and innovative merchandising decisions aligned with Sephora's brand concepts to support business growth
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of senior management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service industry
- Proven track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Previous experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across store positions including leadership roles
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to analyze sales trends and achieve KPIs
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage in difficult conversations
