Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Beauty, Skincare and Fragrance Studio(s), ensuring high standards of service delivery and client safety.
- Oversee scheduling and publish Beauty Advisors' availability and classes within the Online Reservation system to maximize bookings and operational coverage.
- Plan, staff and execute in‑store events and classes to drive client education and incremental sales.
- Coach, develop and certify Beauty Advisors; identify talent and deliver targeted training to elevate artistry and service standards.
- Participate in performance management related to the Beauty Studio and provide timely feedback and action plans for direct reports.
- Act as Manager on Duty regularly, engaging with clients and Beauty Advisors to model service behaviours and resolve escalations.
- Drive adoption of in‑store technology and tools to enhance the client experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Two to four years' experience in a similar role within a comparable volume retail environment or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain high‑performing store teams and to deliver measurable sales and service outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfort working in a fragrance‑filled environment and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
Skills
Experience
Two to four years' experience managing services or beauty studio operations in a high‑volume retail environment, with proven experience in staffing, event execution, and talent development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in retail management, business, cosmetology or related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
