Sephora Interim Sales and Service Leader in New York, NY – lead a beauty retail team with $28–$32/hr pay and flexible scheduling options.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement sales and service experiences that align with Sephora's brand standards and operational guidelines
- Support and coach team members including Coordinators, Licensed Beauty Advisors, and Beauty Advisors to drive excellence in sales and service delivery
- Execute the client service model and sales strategies to maximize customer engagement and conversion
- Ensure strict compliance with store standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and professional workplace protocols
- Monitor and support client loyalty programs and initiatives, tracking KPIs to ensure program success and client retention
- Manage operational tasks including inventory oversight, stock rotation, and the ability to lift and carry products up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience, preferably in retail sales or services
- Demonstrated passion for client service and collaborative teamwork
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Resilience and adaptability to evolving store priorities and seasonal demands
- Reliable attendance and commitment to flexible, peak-hour availability
- Physical capability to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within retail sales, beauty services, or related client-facing environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management training or certification is valued.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 32 per hour.
