Sephora seeks an Interim Manager at the Red Deer, Alberta location to oversee Beauty Studios and in-store services. Full-time position; CAD $54,800–$68,500 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of Beauty, Skincare, and Fragrance Studios and ensure adequate staff training and capability development
- Oversee all in-store events with the services team, ensuring proper planning and staffing to maximize client learning and sales opportunities
- Administer the online reservation system, publish Beauty Advisor availability, manage class scheduling, and optimize client check-in efficiency
- Develop and implement certification processes for Beauty Advisors and provide opportunities to enhance artistry skills
- Conduct performance assessments and deliver timely feedback to direct reports and service team members
- Serve as Manager on Duty, engaging directly with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor
- Leverage technology innovations within services to enhance the in-store experience and support client decision-making
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate service capacity during peak periods and maintain service quality standards
Qualifications
- Two to four years of experience in a similar manager role at a comparable-volume retail location or equivalent internal progression
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams through recruitment, training, and talent identification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Proven track record in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional client service in a beauty retail environment
- Proficiency with online reservation systems and digital scheduling platforms
Skills
Experience
Two to four years of progressive experience in a similar management role at a high-volume retail store or equivalent internal career advancement within the beauty retail sector. Demonstrated success in team building, staff training, performance management, and client experience delivery.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or beauty industry credentials are an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, with easy access to Edmonton.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
