Interim Manager (12-month contract) at Sephora Canada in Newmarket, ON. Lead store operations, coaching, and customer experience. CAD $54,800–$68,500.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing Beauty Advisors, facilitating orientation and selling model sessions
- Serve as Client Experience Lead (CEL) in-store, responding promptly to client feedback via Medallia, the service hotline, and direct interactions
- Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and oversee the store-wide performance management process
- Ensure merchandising concepts and sales floor visuals align with company standards; manage tester and supply levels
- Execute visual merchandising updates and coordinate timely replenishment upon new inventory arrival
- Facilitate vendor engagement, ensuring Beauty Advisors effectively partner with all store brands and brand representatives
- Provide constructive feedback on brand training effectiveness and coach teams to exceed company goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service
- Proven ability to motivate and coach teams to achieve company performance expectations and goals
- Strong composure and managerial courage to conduct difficult conversations when necessary
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and developing in-store talent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence business partners across all levels
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel

Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, or equivalent internal experience within a luxury or selective distribution environment. Candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to build high-performing teams, maintain composure under pressure, and deliver measurable business results through team motivation and coaching.
Education
No specific educational credential is mandated; however, candidates with post-secondary education in business management, retail operations, or a related field are advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
