Sephora Calgary (Chinook) seeks an Interim Lead to coach teams and drive sales—full‑time, CAD$20.00–23.55/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate the store team, modelling exceptional client service and selling behaviours.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback, performance conversations and on‑the‑floor training.
- Drive sales performance by cultivating client relationships, delivering personalised recommendations and promoting loyalty programs.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory control, stock integrity, visual merchandising and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to maintain product knowledge and service excellence across the team.
- Maintain store standards and safety by enforcing company policies and creating a welcoming shopping environment.
- Support flexible scheduling and ensure reliable coverage during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client‑facing service environment (3 years preferred).
- Proven ability to coach teams and deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Demonstrated sales aptitude and strong client service orientation with product recommendation experience.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable delivering feedback and training.
- Capacity to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, with punctual attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for back‑of‑store duties.
