Sephora Canada seeks a Manager, Human Resources - Corporate in Toronto (hybrid). Lead employee relations, performance and workforce planning for the Field Support Centre.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive employee experience, engagement and retention across the Field Support Centre through targeted initiatives, surveys and action plans.
- Advise and coach leaders and employees on policies, employment practices, conflict resolution, change management and performance matters.
- Lead employee relations casework including escalations, investigations, corrective action, disciplinary processes and terminations with balanced, solutions-oriented judgement.
- Manage attendance, leave and accommodation processes; oversee termination, severance and separation workflows to ensure compliant documentation and cross-functional coordination.
- Own annual HR programs and workforce planning activities: performance appraisals, calibration, objective-setting, salary planning and position management.
- Design and deliver people analytics, quarterly metrics and insights to inform leadership decision-making and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Partner with North American HR counterparts to align annual processes and promote regional consistency.
- Develop and deliver leadership enablement sessions; coach leaders through performance conversations, PIPs and succession planning.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations and Finance on hiring, onboarding, role activation and headcount planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum six years of progressive HR experience in a corporate environment, including at least three years in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Experience supporting Director- and VP-level leaders and delivering results through others.
- Proven employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, high discretion with confidential information, and demonstrated problem-solving ability.

Experience
Six years of progressive human resources experience in corporate settings, with at least three years performing as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner. Experience advising senior leaders (Director/VP), conducting employee relations investigations and leading performance management programs is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 101,000 to CAD 113,000 per annum.
