Role & Responsibilities
- Act as strategic HR advisor to Regional Directors, District Managers and Store Managers, aligning HR initiatives with retail business objectives and leading change management efforts.
- Lead talent management activities including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions and leadership coaching.
- Design and facilitate training and development programs; coordinate annual HR cycles such as performance reviews, talent calibration and compensation planning.
- Manage employee relations matters and investigations, ensure consistent application of company policy and compliance with employment law, and oversee leave of absence and accommodation processes.
- Champion culture and engagement initiatives; analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) to identify trends and recommend data‑driven interventions.
- Support cross‑functional HR projects, process improvements and ad hoc assignments that advance regional and companywide HR priorities.
- Conduct regular store visits and market engagement — travel 25–40% within the assigned market.
Qualifications
- Residency in Houston or Dallas, Texas (remote, market‑based role required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP).
- Proven competence in employment law, employee relations and leave/accommodation management.
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 25–40%) and to influence across all organizational levels.

Experience
Progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or HR generalist, preferably within retail or multi‑unit operations; demonstrated track record advising leaders, managing employee relations and driving talent programs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; HR certifications (PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP) are a plus.
