The Fragrance Beauty Advisor supports customers across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance, delivers beauty services and classes, and contributes to merchandising, stock, inventory and sales KPIs. This is a permanent, full-time role in Hannover, with a 4-day workweek.

Role & Responsibilities

• Actively support and advise customers on the sales floor across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance, including beauty trends.
• Deliver the Sephora Attitude: Welcome, Know and Close.
• Sell products through in-depth product knowledge and build customer relationships on an equal footing.
• Share knowledge of products, trends and beauty news.
• Continuously develop personal expertise and share it with the team.
• Provide concise, insightful services across all departments.
• Conduct beauty classes.
• Take responsibility for the Beauty Hub.
• Develop team looks to support brands, trends and animations.
• Ensure product presentation meets visual merchandising specifications.
• Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
• Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
• Clean sales-floor furniture and products.
• Store and replenish goods in the warehouse and on the sales floor.
• Support the implementation of merchandising updates and construction work.
• Conduct inventories.
• Operate the cash register.
• Handle additional tasks related to daily business.
• Work toward KPIs including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer feedback and satisfaction, and number of services.

Qualifications

• Completed training in the relevant department, with a training period of at least 6 months.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant department.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Substantial experience in retail, consulting and customer relations.
• Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
• Fluent in English or the country's native language.
• Communicative, reliable and organized.
• Team-oriented, with an open, motivating and friendly manner.
