Sephora — Forecast Analyst in Saran, France. Central Supply Chain role managing European sales & purchase forecasts with RELEX. Permanent full-time, hybrid.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and validate sales and purchase forecasts for assigned brands and European countries within the central Supply Chain team.
  • Operate within the monthly S&OP process: analyse monthly sales forecasts on a 3–4 month horizon and monitor forecast accuracy and its drivers.
  • Use RELEX to review forecast parameters (trends, events, newness, stock cover), identify alerts and propose adjustments in coordination with local Supply Chain teams.
  • Analyse country purchase landings and compare purchase forecasts against budgets for HUBs/countries to identify risks and opportunities (allocation, contingency planning, budget overruns).
  • Prepare and lead monthly coordination meetings with local Supply Chain teams to gather qualitative Sell-In/Sell-Out information, challenge assumptions and reach consensus on risks and mitigation actions.
  • Synthesize and share key forecast and purchase insights with Offer, Finance and Central Supply Planning (alerts, trends, local budgets).
  • Propose and participate in cross-functional continuous-improvement projects to simplify, automate and enhance data and operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s level education (Bac+4/5) from a business school, engineering school or equivalent university degree with a supply chain specialization.
  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in supply chain, preferably in supply and/or demand planning within a retail environment.
  • Fluency in English (required); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in SAP and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational rigour, result orientation and proven analytical and synthesis capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in cross-functional facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder influence.
  • Autonomous, adaptable and proactive with a collaborative mindset for international teamwork.

Experience
