Sephora Charlestown (Newcastle, Australia) seeks a Floor Manager — part‑time contract, $32.24/hr + super, commission. Lead the store team and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the store floor in delivering Sephora’s curated, innovative prestige beauty experience and act as a visible role model for client service.
- Drive sales performance and KPI achievement through coaching, real‑time feedback and capability development of the sales team.
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operational decisions, interpretation of sales and reporting data, and execution of merchandising standards.
- Act as Manager in Charge (MIC) when rostered, making confident store decisions on client and cast member matters during busy trading periods.
- Oversee category selling and store functions across beauty, skincare, haircare and wellness, including back‑of‑house operations and stock control.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' retail management experience, including P&L oversight, sales forecasting and people management.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop frontline retail teams to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident).
- Availability for a rotating roster including late nights, weekends and public holidays; capacity to provide key trading day coverage.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years’ experience in retail management with demonstrable success in sales leadership, P&L or budget responsibility, inventory control and staff training. Prior experience in prestige beauty or luxury retail is highly desirable.
Education
Certificate III in Retail or equivalent preferred; tertiary qualification in business, retail management or a related discipline advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 32.24 per hour.
