Floor Manager role at Sephora Southland, Melbourne. Lead 20+ beauty advisors in premium retail management with AUD $33.37/hr + super + commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 20+ beauty advisors, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring operational excellence
- Serve as Client Experience Lead (CEL), overseeing client and team matters in a fast-paced environment and making critical operational decisions
- Drive a high-performance selling culture to exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and consistently elevate team capabilities through targeted coaching
- Utilize and interpret reporting data to inform operational decisions and collaborate with Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and fellow Senior Beauty Advisors
- Facilitate open and constructive communication within the team, provide impactful feedback, and maintain consistent dialogue with the management team
- Manage profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management and training, stock control, and visual merchandising
- Oversee all product categories including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness, with comprehensive involvement in sales management and back-of-house operations
- Work a rotating roster supporting store needs, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience
- Proven track record of managing profit and loss, sales forecasting, and people management
- Demonstrated expertise in stock control and visual merchandising
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for data interpretation and daily reporting
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Hands-on leadership style with passion for being on the sales floor
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury or prestige beauty retail. Store Manager or Assistant Manager experience from smaller-format retailers transitioning into larger, high-volume premium environments is particularly valued.
