Sephora hiring Financial Controller for European Supply Chain closure and process optimization. Hybrid role in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. CDI.
Role & Responsibilities
- Guarantee monthly Supply Chain financial closure for Europe (logistics costs, inventory), including data collection, control, justification, and application of accounting rules
- Analyze and communicate variances to stakeholders; serve as primary contact for accounting, internal audit, and external auditors on Supply Chain scope
- Maintain budget oversight for departmental operations (travel and entertainment, consulting); animate country teams on central and local logistics cost allocation
- Manage inter-company billing, refacturations, and financial interactions with logistics service providers
- Adapt financial processes to evolving logistics flows (new warehouses, scope changes, end-of-life transitions) and systems
- Document, secure, and standardize processes to ensure operational robustness and consistency
- Lead process improvement and optimization initiatives via automation and AI; manage tools including Power BI, Anaplan, and SAP COPA
- Identify and implement leverage points for process enhancement; develop and pilot automated reporting solutions independently or through internal project ownership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Management Accounting, or Accounting
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial control, closure, or audit, ideally in an international environment
- Proven analytical mindset with strong rigor and reliability
- High affinity for continuous improvement and process optimization
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively within demanding monthly cycles while engaging diverse stakeholders (country teams, accounting, partners)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years in financial control, closure, or audit roles, preferably in an international, multi-country context involving supply chain or logistics operations.
Education
Advanced degree (Bac+4/5) from an engineering school, business school, or university, specializing in Finance, Management Accounting, or Accounting.
