Sephora — Financial Controller in Dubai: lead FP&A, budgeting, month-end reporting and business partnering across Middle East & Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes for key P&L lines and maintain/continually improve forecasting models.
- Prepare and submit timely forecasts into LVMH systems and support ad-hoc monthly outlook/estimates when requested.
- Drive month-end variance analysis and translate financial data into concise narratives highlighting trends, drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Deliver monthly financial and management reports according to company schedules and participate in the month-end close process.
- Partner closely with commercial and regional stakeholders across the Middle East and Europe to monitor investment areas and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic business decisions and management requests.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial controlling or business partnering; Big Four experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders across regions (Middle East and Europe).
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations.
- High level of accuracy and organisational discipline to meet reporting deadlines.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in financial planning & analysis, controlling or FP&A business partnering roles; experience supporting cross-border stakeholders (Middle East and Europe) and exposure to retail/consumer goods preferred. Big Four accounting experience considered an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
