Sephora Canada: Financial Analyst (12-month contract), Toronto. Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. CAD$66,500–$78,200 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and reporting
- Ensure ongoing forecasts incorporate trends and relevant business information
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis and detailed commentary
- Generate analysis and reporting combining financial and non-financial content, including recurring results and ad-hoc business cases
- Support the monthly close process with variance reports and analysis executed with high accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and understand business operations
- Support ad-hoc projects, financial analysis, and reporting requests as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance with knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- 1–2 years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or financial reporting/accounting experience; retail or CPG industry experience preferred
- Experience supporting a full budget cycle from target establishment through goal socialization to business partner alignment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across the organization
- Strong prioritization skills and proven ability to succeed in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
- Demonstrated success in critical thinking and decision-making with understanding of when to seek guidance
- Proficiency with Excel modelling and comfort with financial systems, preferably SAP Business Objects
- Comfort using AI tools and technologies to enhance day-to-day productivity
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of related financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or financial reporting/accounting experience. Retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience is preferred. The candidate should have supported a complete budget cycle and demonstrated success in fast-paced environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business or finance with knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 66,500 to CAD 78,200 per annum.
