Sephora Sydney is hiring a Field Trainer (NSW) to lead classroom and in‑store training across NSW, delivering product and leadership education.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, plan and deliver Sephora and brand training in classroom (physical and virtual) and in-store coaching formats across NSW.
- Collaborate with District Managers and Store Management to assess learning needs and translate them into tailored coaching plans.
- Deliver product, category and soft-skills training; coach managers in leadership and performance conversations.
- Track, record and report training engagement and outcomes using LMS data, session attendance and in‑store training overviews.
- Analyse KPIs and other performance metrics to identify capability gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions.
- Coordinate and execute store e‑learning schedules and follow up on classroom initiatives with practical in‑store reinforcement.
- Support recruitment of specialist roles through practical assessment of category skills and contribute to stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded) or equivalent vocational training credential.
- Minimum three years' experience in retail or sales training; experience in beauty, skincare, colour or fragrance highly desirable.
- Proven experience in learning content creation and instructional design for classroom and e‑learning.
- Demonstrated adult training and coaching capability with solid understanding of adult learning principles.
- Open availability and willingness to travel across the state to deliver in‑store and field coaching.
- Basic make‑up application skills and practical category competency for assessment purposes.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years' experience in retail training, sales training or a related L&D role, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail sector.
Education
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) preferred; relevant retail/beauty certifications (skin, colour, fragrance) desirable.
