Sephora Facilities Supervisor, Distribution Center (3rd Shift)

Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the facilities/maintenance department on the designated 3rd shift schedule.
- Supervise Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates, including work assignment, scheduling, training and performance management.
- Direct assessment, repair and documentation for building systems, material handling equipment, conveyors and HVAC; ensure completion of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Anticipate facility and equipment failures and develop corrective and preventive action plans in partnership with the Facilities Manager to minimise operational downtime.
- Maintain parts inventory to support efficient maintenance response and minimise equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with federal OSHA and state safety regulations; deliver required safety training (e.g., Lock-out/Tag-out, fall protection) and maintain safety documentation.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, inspectors and property asset managers to ensure contracted work meets agreed standards and timelines.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, coaching and technical development to the maintenance team; document work and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising facilities/maintenance in a distribution center or high-tech warehousing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with motorized material handling equipment maintenance, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, automated process control and material handling equipment; experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), goods-to-person pick stations and large sortation/conveyance systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out, fall protection and other OSHA/state-required safety processes and training.
- Welding/fabrication experience and formal electrical/electronic or mechanical/millwright training are advantageous; CFM certification or pursuit of CFM is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights (up to 40 feet) and perform hands-on mechanical repairs as required.
