Sephora seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician for its Las Vegas Distribution Center to maintain and repair facility and warehouse equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and support site operations. This is a permanent, full-time position; the target pay is $26.25–$28.10 per hour, with eligible schedules potentially receiving shift differential pay.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform assigned basic maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including plumbing, painting, and general upkeep.
- Complete preventive maintenance on selected motorized material-handling and warehouse equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and simple repairs.
- Check, change, and clean powered industrial truck batteries.
- Document equipment repairs and adjustments.
- Provide general labor and perform custodial duties and repairs to household fixtures.
- Operate motorized material-handling equipment as needed to complete maintenance assignments.
- Assist with setup, teardown, and cleanup for company social functions, meetings, and events.
- Follow safety laws and Sephora safety policies and rules, including work-attire requirements; report safety violations and potential violations to supervisors or management.
- Follow company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including required overtime based on business needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training and/or experience.
- Background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Material-handling equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Able to stand, sit, squat, lift, and/or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 32 feet while operating a scissor lift and other warehouse lift equipment.
- Manual dexterity to operate power tools and other mechanical equipment safely and competently.
- Able to work in varying office and warehouse temperatures and humidity, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to inclement weather, cold, heat, dust, pollen, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.

Experience
Beginner-level; a background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is required, and material-handling equipment maintenance experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training and/or experience.
