Sephora is hiring a Facilities Clerk for its Utah Distribution Center in Salt Lake City. The role manages maintenance-parts ordering, inventory and vendor coordination, Keep Trax records, and departmental spending; it is a permanent, full-time position with hourly pay of $25.15–$26.90, with shift differential potentially available for certain schedules.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Order and reorder maintenance parts, liaising with vendors to ensure the department’s needs are met.
  • Perform and coordinate physical inventory counts, compare counts with Keep Trax records, and maintain accurate stock listings and inventory data in Keep Trax.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts of maintenance parts and verify minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Document equipment and facility repairs and adjustments; close work orders and support parts sourcing and data entry.
  • Provide administrative support for Keep Trax and, when required, deliver parts off site.
  • Receive and stock items as needed.
  • Communicate daily with outside vendors to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with the Planner to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and work orders (WO) are entered into Keep Trax.
  • Communicate daily with purchasing and accounting to ensure paperwork is processed as expected.
  • Track departmental spending by account and report it to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Coordinate with shift team leaders to ensure parts are issued on time and paperwork is complete.
  • Keep the tool crib organized and fully stocked.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing a parts store in a maintenance department.
  • Knowledge of organizing, securing, and managing a parts room.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet minimum production standards and company service levels.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, work effectively with others to promote teamwork, and work independently.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing operational priorities and needs.
  • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift, and lift up to 50 lb.
