Sephora Singapore: Executive, Demand Planning role managing forecasting and inventory across SEA region, balancing service, costs, and growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning activities for assigned brand portfolio, maintaining optimal balance between service levels, stock availability, and warehouse costs
- Review and develop sales forecasts for Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, integrating commercial targets, launch plans, events, seasonality, and product lifecycle data
- Collaborate with Regional Category Management on forecasting active and new launch products, challenging assumptions when necessary
- Conduct monthly root-cause analysis on forecast inaccuracy and implement corrective actions
- Actively review and update product assortments in coordination with Supply Planning, Category Management, Marketing, and Finance teams
- Participate in S&OP process to align sales forecasts, financial plans, launches, and animation plans
- Communicate shortage risks, slow-moving products, and discontinued items to Category Management to determine inventory reduction strategies
- Drive engagement with prioritized brands to improve and maintain supply services
- Define and monitor action plans to improve demand planning processes, methods, and tools
- Support new launch forecast alignment and post-launch analysis with root-cause investigation for forecast inaccuracies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management
- At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management, with FMCG background preferred
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel capabilities, including VBA knowledge
- Ability to analyze data, draw evidence-based conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions
- Strong cross-functional and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across various organizational levels
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management; FMCG background is preferred. The role welcomes candidates with foundational supply chain knowledge who demonstrate analytical capability and cross-functional collaboration potential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
