Sephora Singapore seeks an Executive, Data Excellence—an entry-level data analyst role building dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions across Southeast Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, and maintain SQL data models using DBT to support reporting, dashboarding and analytics use cases
- Transform raw data into well-structured, reusable, and business-friendly datasets under senior guidance
- Build and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly dashboards and reports in enterprise BI platforms such as Domo and Power BI
- Support key stakeholders in translating business questions and requirements into clear and accurate enterprise dashboards and insights
- Perform data validation and user acceptance testing to ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose
- Monitor data quality and help maintain trusted definitions, metadata, technical documentation, and data lineage
- Maintain clear documentation for data models, dashboards, calculations, and recurring operational processes
- Collaborate with senior analysts, data engineers, and business users to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions
- Support improvements to dashboard performance, navigation, usability, and visual consistency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, or related discipline
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts gained through coursework, internships, personal projects, or previous employment
- Exposure to data transformation or modelling tools such as DBT
- Exposure to a BI or data visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo through coursework, internships, or projects
- Strong logical thinking and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new technologies and understand business processes
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
