Sephora — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Ethics & Compliance Intern (6‑month internship) supporting ethics, compliance and duty of vigilance programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Group Ethics & Compliance Directorate in regional program delivery (Code of Conduct, Gifts & Invitations, Conflicts of Interest, International Sanctions, third‑party evaluation).
  • Contribute to the implementation and follow‑up of the Duty of Vigilance program and related remediation actions.
  • Help update and maintain the corruption and duty‑of‑vigilance risk mapping, identify existing controls and draft action plans.
  • Participate in the digitalization of ethics and compliance processes to increase efficiency and traceability.
  • Design and execute internal communications to promote an ethics and compliance culture, including awareness of the whistleblowing/reporting mechanism.
  • Perform legal and regulatory watch to keep the compliance team informed of relevant developments.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a top business school or holding a Master’s-level law degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in Ethics & Compliance.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of the Sapin II framework and a clear interest in Duty of Vigilance and broader compliance matters.
  • Strong analytical rigour, intellectual curiosity and a structured approach to tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
